Carlisle is in the process of hiring a new city administrator and school superintendent.
“Those are positions where, at least if you were in business, you would want someone who is business friendly,” city clerk administrator, Neil Ruddy said. “The city position would have more of an impact on businesses than the school district, but in key areas what sells people on moving to the community is the school district that’s the most important things.”
Interviews are scheduled for April 2 and 3 for the city administrator position.
“These would be interviews that would be conducted by the company that has been hired by the city to do the search for a new city administrator, and if any business owner would be interested that would be a way they could have input into that process and they could let the search consultant know what kind of a personality they would like to see in the position of city administrator,” Ruddy said.
Any business owners wishing to give input should contact the City of Carlisle to make an appointment to meet with the search consultant.
